Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for the protection of frequency converters in power systems.
This standard applies to the protection of frequency converters in power systems with voltages of 10 kV or lower (hereinafter referred to as "protection"), serving as the basic technical principles that relevant departments such as design, manufacturing, construction, and operation should abide by. It does not apply to the protection of speed control frequency converters used for special purposes (such as electric locomotives, ships, elevators, air conditioners, etc.).
