This part of DB31/T 329 stipulates the requirements for the design and construction, evaluation, inspection, acceptance, and operation and maintenance of safety technical prevention systems in medical institutions in Shanghai. This part applies to hospitals, health centers, nursing homes, outpatient departments, clinics, health stations (rooms) and emergency stations, etc. engaged in disease diagnosis and treatment activities within the administrative area of Shanghai. Safety technical prevention systems for disease prevention and control, maternal and child health care, mental health, infectious disease prevention and control, emergency rescue, blood collection and supply, etc. shall be implemented in accordance with this part. Safety technical prevention systems for urban community health services and rural township hospitals, etc. may refer to this part for implementation. The renovation and expansion of existing medical institutions' safety technical prevention systems shall be implemented in accordance with this part.
