This standard specifies the lightning protection grade classification of ground meteorological observation sites (rooms), general requirements, direct lightning protection measures, protection against lightning electromagnetic pulses, design and construction requirements for grounding networks, and maintenance of lightning protection devices.
This standard applies to the lightning protection of newly built, expanded, or renovated ground meteorological observation sites (rooms).
