GB/T 12238-2008 Flanged and wafer resilient seal butterfly valves
Abstract
This standard specifies the structural forms, technical requirements, materials, test methods, inspection rules, marking, painting, packaging, and storage and transportation of flange and clamp-type connection elastic seal butterfly valves.
This standard applies to: flange-connected elastic seal butterfly valves with a nominal pressure not exceeding PN25 and a nominal size of DN50 to DN4000; clamp-connected elastic seal butterfly valves with a nominal pressure not exceeding PN16 and a nominal size of DN50 to DN1200.
The medium is non-corrosive liquids and gases. When fully open, the flow rate of the medium in the pipeline shall not exceed 5 m/s.
