Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements for molten aluminum and aluminum alloys, process control during production, testing methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and the content of quality certificates and purchase orders (or contracts).
This standard applies to molten aluminum and aluminum alloys (hereinafter referred to as "aluminum melt") produced by electrolysis or remelting methods.
