This standard specifies the general requirements for IPTV media delivery systems, including: the composition of the media delivery system and the functions of its various components; the technical requirements for the media distribution and storage subsystem; the technical requirements for the media service subsystem; the technical requirements for the global load balancing subsystem; the technical requirements for the operation and management subsystem; the business requirements supported by the media delivery system; the requirements for expansion and security; and the requirements for external interface protocols. This standard applies to IPTV media delivery systems.
