GB 4706.24-2008 Household and similar electrical appliances—Safety—Particular requirements for washing machines
Abstract
The chapter in GB 4706.1—2005 is replaced by the following content:
This part applies to the safety of household and similar-purpose electric washing machines used for washing clothes and textiles, with a rated voltage of no more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and no more than 480 V for other appliances.
This part also applies to the safety of household and similar-purpose electric washing machines that use electrolyte instead of detergent. The additional requirements for such appliances are described in Appendix CC.
