Abstract
The chapter of GB 4706.1—2005 is replaced by the following content:
This part of GB 4706 specifies the safety of foot warmers and heating foot pads.
This part applies to electric foot warmers and electric heating foot pads for household and similar purposes with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V.
Appliances that are not intended for general household use but may still pose a risk to the public, such as those intended for use by non-professionals in shops, light industry, and farms, are also covered by this part.
