GB 14232.1-2020 Plastics collapsible containers for human blood and blood components—Part 1:Conventional containers
Abstract
This part specifies the requirements (including performance requirements) for closed, sterile plastic blood bags. Unless otherwise specified, all tests specified in this part apply to plastic blood bags intended for use. This part applies to blood bags with collection tubes, transfusion ports, lancets, and transfer tubes (optional), used for the collection, storage, processing, transfer, separation, and infusion of blood and blood components. This part also applies to multi-connected plastic blood bags, such as double-connected, triple-connected, quadruple-connected, or multi-connected blood bags. According to the requirements of use, the blood bags can be filled with anticoagulants and/or preservation solutions. This part does not apply to plastic blood bags integrated with filters.
