GB 21861-2014 Items and methods of motor vehicles safety technology inspection
Abstract
This standard specifies the inspection items, inspection methods, inspection requirements, and the handling of inspection results for the safety technical inspection of motor vehicles.
This standard applies to safety technical inspections of motor vehicles conducted by motor vehicle safety technical inspection institutions. It also applies to safety technical inspections of imported motor vehicles conducted by entry-exit inspection and quarantine institutions. Motor vehicles that have been approved to conduct actual road tests and temporarily imported motor vehicles may refer to this standard for safety technical inspections.
This standard does not apply to safety technical inspections of tractors and transport units, etc., which are used for road transportation of tractors.
