GB 1922-2006 Petroleum solvents for paints and cleaning
Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements and test methods, sampling and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for five types of solvent oils, which are typically composed of petroleum distillates. The products covered by this standard are mainly used as paint solvents (or diluents), dry cleaning solvents, and cleaning agents for metal parts. The intended uses of various types of solvent oils are described in Appendix B.
