This standard specifies the identification of brake fluids (petroleum-based or non-petroleum-based) for the braking systems and hydraulic systems of road vehicles (including motorcycles and mopeds).
This standard applies to the identification on the containers of brake fluids for commercial purposes and on the containers of brake fluids installed on vehicles.
