Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general requirements, and inspection methods for ultrasonic testing of nodular cast iron parts. This standard applies to ultrasonic testing of defects in nodular cast iron parts for general use with a thickness ranging from 10 mm to 500 mm. This standard does not apply to the detection of nodular cast iron spheroidization rate and the detection methods of penetration technology.
