Abstract
This document specifies the grades, production methods, chemical compositions, technical requirements, sample preparation, test methods, inspection rules and markings, quality certificates, protection, packaging, and storage and transportation of gray cast iron.
This document is applicable to ordinary gray cast iron parts cast in sand molds or molds with thermal conductivity comparable to sand molds. Gray cast iron parts cast using other molds can be used for reference.
