Abstract
This document specifies the raw materials, forging process, and finished product requirements for modules used in forging hammers and large mechanical forging presses, describes the corresponding test methods, and stipulates the inspection rules, marking, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This document applies to the manufacture of forged modules made from alloy steel for forging hammers and large mechanical forging presses (including screw presses).
Note: For the sake of clarity, in this document, "modules used in forging hammers and large mechanical forging presses" are referred to as "modules".
