Abstract
This standard specifies the method for determining 2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethanol in food simulants.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of 2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethanol in water-based food simulants such as water, 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution, and 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution, as well as in olive oil.
The lower limit for determining 2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethanol in water-based food simulants is 2.2 mg/L, and the lower limit for determining 2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethanol in olive oil is 2.2 mg/kg.
