GB/T 5008.1-2023 Lead-acid starter batteries—Part 1:Technical conditions and methods of test
Abstract
This document specifies the classification, technical requirements, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for lead-acid batteries used for starting (hereinafter referred to as "batteries"), and describes the corresponding test methods. This document applies to exhaust-type (flooded-type) batteries and valve-regulated (with gas-recombination function) batteries with a rated voltage of 12 V, which are used for starting, ignition, and lighting in various automobiles, tractors, and other internal combustion engines. This document does not apply to batteries used for other purposes, such as batteries for starting railway internal combustion engines.
