Abstract
This document specifies 1,406 graphical symbols for electrical equipment, along with their names, meanings, and application scopes.
The graphical symbols in this document are applicable to the following purposes:
——Identifying equipment or its components (such as controllers or displays);
——Indicating functional status or functions (such as on/off, alarms);
——Marking connections (such as terminals, connectors);
——Providing packaging information (such as packaging identification, loading and unloading instructions);
——Providing operating instructions for equipment (such as usage restrictions).
The graphical symbols in this document are not applicable to the following purposes:
——Safety markings;
——Public information;
——Designs and schematics;
——Product technical documents.
