This standard applies to insoluble polyvinyl polypyrrolidone, a food additive, which is produced using N-vinylpyrrolidone monomer as the raw material in the presence of an alkaline catalyst or by using N,N'-diethyl imidazolyl urea as a crosslinking agent.
