JJG 596-2012 Electrical Meters for Measuring Alternating-current Electrical Energy
Abstract
This procedure applies to the initial and subsequent verification of single-phase and three-phase electronic (stationary) AC energy meters with a reference frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz (referred to as electronic energy meters or energy meters).
For electronic energy meters with other functions, the same verification items of this procedure shall be implemented.
This procedure does not apply to the verification of electromechanical (induction) AC energy meters, standard energy meters, digital energy meters (energy meters with measured voltage and current as digital quantities), and on-site inspections of energy meters.
