Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, measurement equipment, measurement steps, determination of calibration coefficients, and test reports for measuring the surface residual stress of metal materials using the indentation strain method. This standard is applicable to the measurement of surface residual stress of various metal materials with a hardness not exceeding 50 HRC.
