Abstract
This part is applicable to the interface between low-voltage switchgear and control equipment and controllers (such as programmable controllers, personal computers, etc.).
This part is not applicable to higher-level industrial communication networks called fieldbuses, which are studied by IEC/SC65C.
This part of GB/T 18858 specifies the definition rules, components, and basic performance requirements for industrial CDI. The standard characteristics of various types of CDI can be included in this part as basic requirements.
