Abstract
This part of GB/T 17186 specifies the calculation method for circular pipe flange connections with gaskets in bolted joints.
This part is applicable to the calculation of narrow-face pipe flanges where all the gaskets are located within a closed circle formed by the bolt holes and there is no contact with the flange sealing surface outside this circle.
This part is mainly applicable to the connection calculation of Class series pipe flanges.
This part provides the basic requirements for the calculation of the connection strength and the stiffness check of pipe flanges.
