GB/T 19882.33-2007 Automatic meter reading system—Part 3-3:Application layer data exchange protocol—COSEM application layer
Abstract
This section specifies the structure, services, and protocols of the COSEM application layer for COSEM clients and servers. This section specifies the data communication services using COSEM interface objects, referenced by logical names (LN) and short names (SN). COSEM servers can use either LN references or SN references in a given connection: this requires negotiation when establishing an application connection. COSEM clients typically use LN connections. If the client communicates with the server using SN references, the LN service needs to be mapped to the SN service. Appendix C provides examples of APDU encoding, and Appendix D explains the role of the data model and protocols in meter data exchange.
