Abstract
This part of GB/T 15972 specifies the test method for determining the tensile strength of fiber samples, which can test fibers of different lengths before cabling. The purpose of this part is to establish a unified technical requirement for measuring the mechanical properties of fibers - tensile strength.
This part is applicable to the measurement of A1, A2, A3 class multimode fibers and B, C, D class single-mode fibers.
