Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of calcium sulfate, a food additive. This standard applies to calcium sulfate (also known as gypsum) prepared after removing impurities from natural gypsum. This product can be used as a stabilizer, coagulant, thickener, and acidity regulator.
