The chapter of GB/T 4706.1-2024 is replaced by the following content:
This document specifies the safety requirements for electric dishwashers for household and similar purposes.
This document applies to single-phase appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V, and other appliances not exceeding 480 V, used for washing and rinsing dishes, cutlery, and other utensils in household and similar applications.
The household and similar-purpose appliances referred to in this document also include similar-purpose appliances used by non-professionals in shops, light industry, and farms. However, if the appliances are used for professional washing and rinsing of dishes, cutlery, and other utensils in commercial settings, such appliances are not considered household and similar-purpose appliances.
In practical terms, the common hazards associated with the appliances covered by this document are encountered by everyone in residential areas and the surrounding environment.
