YS/T 650-2007 Seamless copper tubes for medical gases and vacuum
Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for medical gases and seamless copper tubes used in vacuum applications, as well as their packaging, marking, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to seamless copper tubes with an outer diameter ranging from 6 mm to 159 mm, which are used for the distribution and delivery of the following medical gases or vacuum applications:
——Oxygen, nitrogen monoxide, nitrogen, helium, carbon dioxide, argon;
——Respiratory gases;
——Special mixtures of the aforementioned gases;
——Gases used in surgical instruments;
——Anesthetic gases and vapors;
——Compressed air.
Tubing that meets this standard can be used for capillary welding, brazing, hard soldering, soft soldering, or mechanical processing into complete tube assemblies.
