Abstract
This document specifies a general method for determining the refractive index of liquid organic reagents using the Abbe refractometer method or the automatic digital display refractometer method.
This document is applicable to the determination of light-colored, transparent, liquid organic reagents with a refractive index range of 1.300 to 1.700. This document's automatic digital display refractometer method is also suitable for the determination of dark-colored, semi-transparent, and opaque liquid organic reagents.
