GB/T 12721-2007 Rubber hoses—Determination of abrasion resistance of the outer cover
Abstract
This standard specifies the method for determining the wear resistance of the outer coating of rubber hoses. This standard is mainly used for hydraulic hoses and other similar types of hoses with a fabric or steel wire reinforcing layer and an outer coating that is smooth and flat on the surface. This standard is not used to determine the wear resistance of predetermined products, but it is applicable to comparing the quality levels of products. This standard does not specify the number of cycles that should be completed for each test. The number of cycles is specified in the corresponding product standards.
