Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, composition and classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometers.
This standard applies to inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometers (hereinafter referred to as "instruments") that use inductively coupled plasma as an excitation source in combination with atomic emission spectrometry to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of elements.
