Abstract
This section specifies the test procedures for the multi-factor durability assessment of insulation structures when both heat and electricity are the main aging factors. The test procedures in this section are applicable to molded winding insulation structures used or intended for use in 50 MVA, 15 kV and lower AC motors. It is a comparative test procedure, which compares the performance of the insulation structure to be evaluated with that of a reference insulation structure verified by operational experience. The assessment described in this section does not include stress grading.
