GB/T 24628-2009 Sterilization of health care products—Biological and chemical indicators—Test equipment
Abstract
1.1 This standard specifies the requirements for testing equipment used to test whether chemical and biological indicators for steam, ethylene oxide, dry heat, and vaporized hydrogen peroxide sterilization processes comply with the requirements of GB 18282.1 for chemical indicators or the GB 18281 series for biological indicators. This standard also provides informative methodological information to help determine the performance characteristics of biological and chemical indicators for their intended use, and can also be used for routine quality control testing of indicators. GB 18281.2, GB 18281.3, ISO 111384, and GB 18282.1 all require the use of resistance testers specified in this standard, which should be used in conjunction with the test methods specified in the relevant sections of GB 18281 and GB 18282.
