Abstract
This document specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of general-purpose sheet molding compounds.
This document applies to general-purpose sheet molding compounds (hereinafter referred to as "general-purpose SMCs") that use glass fiber as a reinforcing material and unsaturated polyester resin (UP) or vinyl ester resin (VE) as the base material.
