Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, operating conditions, basic requirements, test methods, and acceptance criteria for permanent magnet brushless motor systems and the permanent magnet brushless motors and drive units that constitute these systems. This standard applies to permanent magnet brushless motor systems (hereinafter referred to as "systems") and the permanent magnet brushless motors (hereinafter referred to as "motors") and drive units (hereinafter referred to as "drives") that constitute these systems.
