GB/T 40006.5-2021 Plastics—Recycled plastics—Part 5:Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) materials
Abstract
This document specifies the classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) recycled plastics.
This document applies to ABS recycled plastic pellets made from waste ABS plastics through processes such as screening, classification, cleaning, and melt extrusion granulation (including granulation processes such as drawing, thermal cutting, and/or water cutting). The base material of this ABS recycled plastic is the acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin specified in GB/T 12672-2009, which consists of a continuous phase of styrene and acrylonitrile copolymer and a dispersed phase of polybutadiene and other components in a certain proportion.
This section does not apply to ABS recycled plastics from hazardous waste such as medical waste and pesticide packaging, or radioactive waste.
This section does not apply to mixed plastics made from ABS and other plastic materials for reprocessing.
