GB 32166.1-2016

This part of GB 32166 specifies the classification, basic requirements, and special requirements for occupational eye and face protective gear. This part applies to flat-lens protective gear or components used to protect the eyes or face during occupational eye and face protection (primarily industrial protection). This part does not apply to: a) general-purpose sunglasses and sunglass lenses or eye and face protective gear with vision correction effects; b) eye and face protective gear used by patients during diagnosis or treatment to protect against exposure; c) eye protective gear for directly observing the sun, such as for observing solar eclipses; d) sports eye and face protective gear; e) short-circuit arc eye and face protective gear; f) welding eye and face protective gear; g) laser eye and face protective gear.
