GB/T 29168.2-2012 Petroleum and natural gas industries—Induction bends,fittings and flanges for pipeline transportation systems—Part 2:Fittings
Abstract
This part of GB/T 29168 specifies the technical delivery conditions for pipe fittings used in pipeline systems designed in accordance with GB/T 24259. It can also be used as a reference for pipe fittings used in pipeline systems designed according to other specifications. This part applies to welded pipe fittings made from seamless carbon steel or low-alloy steel pipes and welded steel pipes, such as elbows, pipe caps, tees, gas manifolds, reducers, and transition pipe sections. This part specifies two product specification levels (PSLs), which correspond to the pipe fitting specification levels in ISO 3183. This part does not apply to the selection of pipe fitting grades. The purchaser is responsible for specifying the product specification level (PSL) based on the intended use and design requirements; specific requirements are described in ISO 3183:2007. This part does not apply to the selection of pipe fitting pipe bodies, factory welding materials, or accessories.
