Abstract
This document specifies the online measurement of partial discharge in the stator windings of rotating motors powered by non-inverters at a rated voltage of 3 kV and above, including:

—— Measurement procedures;
—— Reduction of noise;
—— Preparation of test results documents;
—— Evaluation of test results.
This document specifies the partial discharge test system and methods for detecting electrical partial discharge. The same measurement devices and procedures can also be used to detect electric sparks and arcs.
