Abstract
This standard specifies the test requirements for three-phase squirrel-cage induction motors powered by frequency converters, including pre-test preparations, no-load tests, locked-rotor tests, load tests, determination of losses and efficiency, thermal tests, and maximum and minimum torque tests. This standard applies to three-phase squirrel-cage induction motors powered by frequency converters. This standard does not apply to traction motors.
