Abstract
This part of GB/T 3246 specifies the test solutions and sample preparation used for microstructural examination of aluminum and aluminum alloy ingots (or billets), deformed aluminum and aluminum alloy plates, strips, foils, tubes, rods, shapes, wires, and forgings (hereinafter referred to as processed products), as well as etching, anodizing, microstructural examination, grain size determination, and test reports.
This part is applicable to the microstructural examination of aluminum and aluminum alloy ingots (or billets) and processed products.
