1.1 This document specifies the basic requirements for the materials, design and calculation, construction and installation, inspection and testing, safety protection, trial operation and commissioning, use and maintenance, and emergency repair of onshore oil and gas long-distance pipelines.
Note: The composition of long-distance pipelines is shown in Appendix A.
1.2 The scope of onshore oil and gas long-distance pipelines is shown in Figure 1. The pipelines within the solid lines and solid line frames in the figure are applicable to this document.
Note: The parts of the long-distance pipelines that extend into the factory boundaries of refineries, oil depots, urban gas stations, gas storage facilities, LNG receiving stations, gas power plants, and oil (gas) processing plants shall be described in the design documents to clarify the interface between the long-distance pipelines and other types of pipelines.
