Abstract
This standard provides guidelines for the credibility characteristics specified in the norms, as well as methods and criteria for verifying and validating these characteristics.
This standard includes the following content:
——Recommendations on quantitative and qualitative requirements for reliability, maintainability, availability, and maintenance supportability;
——Recommendations for system purchasers on how to ensure that suppliers meet the specified requirements;
——Recommendations to help suppliers meet the purchasers' requirements.
Other documents, such as laws and government regulations, can also be used as system requirements. Except for any norms derived from this standard, these documents should be considered for adoption.
