GB/T 24816-2009 Short link chain for lifting purposes—Grade 8,non-calibrated,for chain slings etc.
Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements for Class 8 general-precision chains used in cranes, lifting chains, and general lifting applications. The chains are short-ring welded steel chains that have undergone thorough heat treatment and testing, and comply with the general acceptance criteria stipulated in GB/T 20946.
This standard applies to chains with nominal sizes ranging from 5 mm to 45 mm. The appendix also provides temporary additional nominal sizes for chains with sizes ranging from 6 mm to 35 mm.
