This section specifies the method for determining the platinum content in gold, platinum, and palladium alloys. This section is applicable to the determination of platinum content in PtIr, PtW, PdAgCuAuPtZn, AuAgPt, AuCuPtAgZn, and PtIrRu alloys. The measurement range (mass fraction): 5% to 95%.
