GB/T 17888.2-2008 Safety of machinery—Permanent means of access to machinery—Part 2:Working platforms and walkways
Abstract
This part applies to all fixed and mobile machinery with fixed access facilities.
This part applies to work platforms and passageways used as machine components.
This part may also apply to work platforms and passageways installed in buildings as part of the building, assuming the main function of this part of the building is to provide fixed access facilities to machinery.
This part also applies to work platforms and passageways that are not permanently fixed to a specific machine, and some operations of the machine may require removing or moving them to the side (for example, replacing tools on a large press).
This part does not apply to elevators, movable lifting platforms, or other devices specifically designed for lifting people between two levels.
