Abstract
This document specifies the basic requirements and test methods for ski boot strap fasteners.
This document applies to ski boot strap fasteners for adults and children, including those with a step-in function.
This document does not apply to cushioning anti-slip pads.
Note 1: For ski boot fasteners without a release device, see ISO 14790.
Note 2: For ski boot fasteners with no inserts in the mounting area, see ISO 10958-1, and for ski boot fasteners with inserts in the mounting area, see ISO 10958-2.
