This part of GB 15208 specifies the classification, general technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage and transportation, and random technical documents for backscatter security inspection equipment. This part is applicable to the design, manufacture, assembly, acceptance, and use of low-dose X-ray security inspection equipment that utilizes X-ray backscatter imaging technology to conduct security inspections of items. This part is not applicable to portable backscatter security inspection equipment.
