Abstract
This document specifies the design of functional gages and their operating specifications, the inspection of functional gages, the determination of conformity and arbitration, and the determination of conformity and arbitration for the workpieces being inspected.
This document is applicable to the design and application of physical functional gages and digital functional gages. It also serves as a reference for the design and application of inspection tools for geometric tolerances that do not specify maximum/minimum entity requirements.
