JG/T 163-2013 Couplers for rebar mechanical splicing
Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, types and markings, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of sleeves used for mechanical connection of reinforcing bars in concrete structures.
This standard applies to straight-threaded sleeves, conical-threaded sleeves, and extruded sleeves used for mechanical connection of reinforcing bars in concrete structures. The sleeves described in this standard are suitable for connecting various types of reinforcing bars with diameters of 12 mm to 50 mm, in accordance with GB 1499.2 and GB 13014. When connecting smooth round reinforcing bars, stainless steel reinforcing bars, and foreign reinforcing bars, this standard can be used as a reference for application.
